Sassari, Stefano Canu at the Agility Dog World Championships
With his Border Collie named Ciak
Stefano Canu, 35 years old from Sassari, loves animals, dogs in particular. With Ciak, his almost 5-year-old Border Collie, he starts the "Agility dog" specialty almost for fun, the obstacle jumping and skill competition that engages owners and four-legged friends. And it is a success. Stefano makes a name for himself at a regional and national level. A dog center called "Dimonios" opens in the Buddi Buddi street. Now, however, the icing on the cake, the crowning of a beautiful path: the convocation in the National team and the security of participation in the Agility Dog World Championships in Voghera: from 18 to 21 August 2022. The recruiter Cristian Oggioni has decided to call him after the brilliant performances to the national events that have recently taken place in Ospitaletto and Soliera (Modena).
"For me it is an honor to represent Italy in such an important competition - says Stefano Canu -. We are in perfect symbiosis with Ciak and we will be ready for that date. At the beginning, Agility dog was a game for me. a pastime. But over the months it has turned into a passion. Now - he concludes - it is also something more ".
