The organizational machinery to make Max Pezzali's New Year's concert possible tomorrow in Sassari is proceeding at full speed.

"Preparations are on track with the timeline we set," reports Gian Stefano Murru of Gian Production, who, along with Ragazze Terribili, is the local contact entrusted by the Vivo Concerti agency with organizing the event scheduled for Piazzale Segni. Operations began on December 22nd, also to avoid adverse weather conditions. There are three sectors for spectators, each with a capacity of 20,000. "But," Murru continues, "it's possible that more will arrive."

In this regard, they're trying to determine how many buses, loaded with future attendees, are expected on December 31st and, more importantly, what time they'll arrive. "The gates will be manned from 4:00 PM, and we'll have to wait for the fire department inspection, which won't arrive until 6:00 PM."

Therefore, the public will not be allowed in until at least 7:00 p.m. The safety committee will meet on-site at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, while the first audio and lighting checks will take place this evening, with 14 people working. There will be 25 stage crews, 100 local police officers, and 120 security personnel on duty tomorrow. These significant numbers are in addition to the 20 stands, two giant screens, and 90 portable toilets, among other things.

Spectators will occupy Sectors A and B, followed by two areas designated for disabled visitors. "We have 15 parking spaces for them, and Dinamo has also offered us the spaces at the Palaserradimigni stadium to use until they're full."

Meanwhile, the Municipality has announced that, due to technical issues, the email address for information about the concert has changed. It's now capodanno.sassari@tiscali.it. Returning to the numbers of potential spectators, it's clear that both hotels and B&Bs in the city have been sold out for the night of December 31st for some time, and the reason is largely one: Max Pezzali.
