A special screening of the documentary "Giulio Regeni - Tutto il male del mondo," produced by Fandango and Ganesh Produzioni, will be held tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in Room B of the Piandanna 2 Complex. A discussion will follow on the issues of freedom of study and research. The event is organized by the Doctoral School of the University of Sassari as part of the "Universities for Giulio Regeni" initiative, promoted by Senator for Life and scientist Elena Cattaneo, ten years after the young researcher's disappearance in Egypt. Seventy-six universities have participated, involving 15,000 people for two months of meetings and screenings on freedom of research.

The morning will open with institutional greetings from Rector Gavino Mariotti and continue with an introduction by Eugenio Garribba, Director of the Uniss Doctoral School, and Margherita Maioli, organizers of the "Universities for Giulio Regeni" initiative. A video message from Giulio Regeni's parents, Paola Deffendi and Claudio Regeni, will be broadcast, followed by the screening of the documentary "Giulio Regeni - Tutto il male del mondo."

The following round table will feature speakers: Carla Bassu, Coordinator of the Doctoral Course in Cultures, Literatures, Rights, Tourism and Territory; Enrico Baroffio, President of the ADI Doctorate Association of Sassari; Antonio Michele Bilotta, President of the Uniss Student Council; and Eleonora Cocco, President of the Forum of Associations of the University of Sassari.
