Rights associations and activists in Piazza Fiume in Sassari for the "Transgender Day of Remembrance", the international day of transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming memory which falls on November 20 every year since 1999 and takes place by reciting the names of trans people who died during the year and declaiming the political reflections regarding the violence against the aforementioned subjects.

The TDoR Sardinia is organized by the coordination "Transfeminist Brigade", which brings together numerous associations and realities of the island.

"The celebration, for which the tragic theme" Christmas Tale "by Charles Dickens was chosen, will take place in static mode in Piazza Fiume in Sassari - explains a note - where the" ghosts of the future Christmas "will read some people's names trans deaths during the year and the disastrous statistics of European countries, among which Poland, Hungary and from which Italy is not so distant. Then the political and social interventions of the different realities and subjectivities will be read, which will denounce the violence of the system towards trans people and will propose possible ways of solving the problems ".
