Sassari horror director Alfredo Moreno on the conquest of California
"Resurrection" screened in 11 locations, including Los Angeles and San Francisco
Good news for Sardinian cinema and beyond.
Sassari horror director Alfredo Moreno, 47, lands again in the United States, where he has already won several awards.
His short horror film "Resurrection", from May 10 to June 20, will be screened in 11 locations in California, including Los Angeles, Palm Spring, San Francisco and Sacramento. All already sold out for the occasion.
"An immense satisfaction - comments Alfredo Moreno -. Americans love my genre, but in my horror films there is never blood. Only evil is always present. In 'Resurrection' the girl protagonist comes out of the orphanage, she goes in her old family home in Villa Pozzo and feels strange presences of evil. But evil is really her ".
"Resurrection" in 2021 won the Los Angeles festival (horror genre), but other films by Alfredo Moreno also received international recognition, such as "Eyes" and "The Chosen". After the American screenings Alfredo Moreno will fly to Scotland to shoot his next film, entitled "Intruder".
