A sort of aperitif concert for the Sassarese residents who stayed in town for Easter Monday. A promising start for the day organized by the Sassari municipal administration at the "Pinna" racecourse .
Several hundred spectators enjoyed the concert presented by the Sardinia Jazz Orchestra , conducted by Gavino Mele , a guarantee of professionalism and refined sound for 36 years. The presence of two guest vocalists, Denise Gueye and Giuliano Rassu , allowed the band to perform both purely instrumental standards and classy pop pieces by Burt Bacharach and, above all, Stevie Wonder.
Those who remained for lunch at the restaurant or in the large green space under the trees were able to eat while listening to the music of Italian singer-songwriters (from Neffa to Daniele Silvestri) performed by the Raffaele Puglia Band , with the frontman accompanied by Andrea Budroni on keyboards, Cristiano Caria on bass and William Calledda on drums.
