The elegant and intelligent dolphins, the majestic and friendly fin whales. The Pelagos Sanctuary protects marine mammals and cetaceans thanks to the agreement between France, Monaco and Italy. Last year the photographic exhibition on protected species was a great success, which is why it is being re-proposed in the Sala Duce, from 6 to 10 May, with the title “Blow! Fin whales and dolphins of the Pelagos Sanctuary”.

Not just images, but a real educational and scientific journey, curated by the SeaMe Sardinia association and coordinated by the Environment sector of the Municipality, to discover the wonderful creatures that inhabit the sea. "Dolphins, fin whales and other cetaceans will be the protagonists of a journey that will tell the public about their biology, the threats they face and the actions we can take to protect them" explain the project managers for the Municipality of Sassari. School visits, lasting about 45 minutes, must be booked by contacting Luca Bittau of the SeaMe Sardiniaggio association.

With this exhibition, the Municipality of Sassari continues to promote the culture of respect and knowledge of the marine environment, consolidating the awareness network born around the Pelagos Sanctuary. The exhibition is part of the project "Impelaghiamoci. Discovering the Pelagos Sanctuary", funded by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, which has already involved citizens in various activities.
