The original dimension and primordial energy of the Sardinian and Basque carnivals brought to the stage by the seven dancers on stage and filtered by the queer dimension. An original and surprising show premiered at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari by the Igor X Moreno company. “Karrasekare” thrilled, surprised and won over the spectators who gave over 4 minutes of applause to the show.

The choreographies created by Igor Urzelai Hernando and Moreno Solinas were inspired by the Bosa Carnival . An enormous "blanket", evocative of a primordial landscape similar to an expanse of snow, was the ground on which the performers acted, before it became a sort of cloud or dark stone that, suspended, looms over the planet. From this finally comes the rain which, wetting the world, suggests regeneration, the metamorphosis of the seasons and of human destinies themselves.

The cast can count on an ensemble of international standing starting from the interpreters Marcella Mancini, Alessio Rundeddu, Matteo Sedda, Giulia Vacca, Margherita Elliot, Igor and Moreno. The dramaturgical consultancy is by Simon Ellis, the original music and sound design by Edoardo Robert Elliot, the scenography and costumes by KasperSophie (Kasper Hansen and Sophie Bellin-Hansen), the lights by Joshie Harriette, the technical coordination by Edoardo Robert Elliot, project producer Davide Pisano; administration Anna Paola Della Chiesa.
