First the star with its stoccu, then a remada to be framed that hadn't been seen in via Duomo for a long time. Luca Piras, on componidoreddu, bent over his Montepulciano horse, abandons himself to his very fast steed, greeting the public with sa pippia de maju. And under the cathedral the crowd goes into a frenzy.

Yesterday's was a sun-kissed Sartiglietta which further enhanced the costumes and trappings of the horses in the jar. Four in all the stars read, few compared to other years. But many smiles from the mini knights: the Sartiglietta organized by the Pro Loco of Oristano is their Carnival, and never mind if the target is not hit.

The party began in the square in Rome at 1pm with the dressing of su componidoreddu. Then everyone heads to via Duomo for the star race. The first descent is from su componidoreddu: he touches the star but fails to grasp it. His assistants Gabriele Piras and Gabriele Palmas were also unlucky, on segundu and on terzu. Bring home the first Elio Sanna trophy. Center then for Giulia Atzei and Nicolò Pisu. The fourth star was won by su componidoreddu Luca Piras with su stoccu.

Lots of applause for him: the mini knight enjoys his victory showing the trophy to the entire public in via Duomo. The confetti festival is unmissable: in just a few minutes Via Duomo was completely colourful. Then the reckless teams: some numbers succeeded, others didn't. The mini drummers and trumpeters of the Pro Loco accompanied by maestro Marco Turnu accompanied every moment of the ride.
