Kung Fu World Championships in China: Sardinian athletes win 15 medals

Sardinia was the protagonist at the tenth Kung Fu World Championship held in Emeishan, China, from 14 to 20 October.
Master Giancarlo Manca , who besides following the Sardinian boys is also the technical director of the National Kung Fu team, is extremely satisfied.
The 6 Sardinian athletes won 15 medals.
The “You Li Tai” gym of Assemini took home 11 medals, with Ivo Zedda (absolute silver and 2 bronze), Maria Fajiri (absolute silver and bronze), Gianluigi Bisoni (3 bronze), Denise Pasquavaglio (2 bronze)
The Accademia Culture Orientali gym in Cagliari was also a protagonist with athletes Matteo Murenu (silver and bronze) and Mark Secci (2 bronze).
"Each of these medals," the island team commented, "is the fruit of many years of hard work, perseverance, dedication, and sacrifice . A heartfelt thank you is due to these young men who have led Sardinia to the world podium for so many years. In a sport dominated by the Chinese, Sardinia is proudly a protagonist with these formidable athletes. This is the result achieved by the Sardinian boys at the Kung Fu World Championships.
