More than a dream come true, it's a revenge after being mocked by friends, after being cornered too many times, after suffering. Gabriele Muscas, a 23-year-old actor born and raised in Terralba, has decided to tell his story now that he's wrapped filming in Hollywood on "Rosso di Luna," directed by New York filmmaker Jeremie Fiore : a wake-up call to action on violence against women.

Gabriele Muscas has acted in both English and Italian at the heart of the American film industry: he is one of the three protagonists together with the emerging Italian actress Julia Modesto and the Canadian Vik Sahay, known for the film "American Pie" .

The young man, who previously co-starred in Mirko Zaru's "Metamorfosi dell'essere," released in 2024 and awarded Best Film at the Rome Bloody Festival, recounts his rise from Terralba : "I've always been underestimated. I liked to entertain my peers by imitating real people and fictional characters, but often people didn't understand my sense of humor and thought I was stupid or crazy. It was after one of the many times I felt misunderstood and negatively labeled that I realized that most people don't understand the difference between reality and fiction."

“It was at that moment,” Muscas continues, “that I began studying, turning my Achilles heel into my strongest weapon.”

In 2020, after graduating high school, the young man from Terralba began studying diction, acting, phonetics, orthoepy, theater, and dubbing. But he also faced sad moments: "I no longer left the house; I was always busy looking for managers and agencies. My friends never understood this passion of mine. Left to my own devices and without support, I decided not to give up. Acting in a film in Los Angeles," Muscas concludes, "without a manager or agency to represent me is proof that believing in yourself is the key to reaching the highest heights."
