Redevelop Sardinian ports and marinas. This is the purpose for which the regional council, on the proposal of the councilor for public works, Aldo Salaris, approved in the last session a new distribution of funds: 3 million euros for the financial years 2022 and 2024 and 4 million for the 2023.

"Resources that - explains the exponent of the Giunta Solinas - make it possible to intervene on the modernization and redevelopment programs of ports, giving a propulsive boost to the economy in a sector that, in addition to being strategic from a tourism point of view, represents one of the sectors of economic and social development of greater importance for the entire island, in line with the provisions of the 2020-2024 Regional Development Program ".

Beneficiaries of the contributions are the ports of Marina Piccola (Cagliari), Alghero, Cannigione, Bosa Marina, Buggerru, Castelsardo, Cala Gonone, La Maddalena, Palau, Portoscuso and La Caletta .

In detail, the financing for the port of Marina Piccola will allow for the implementation of extraordinary maintenance interventions on the works and services to ensure the maintenance of the original efficiency and functionality and a higher level of port safety. The proposed financing is aimed, in particular, at providing financial coverage to the interventions on the pavements, the quays, the systems and the port furnishings, for an amount of 1,000,000 euros.

The intervention in favor of the port of Alghero (1,500,000 euros) represents a completion of the reorganization of the flooring, systems, furnishings and services subject to various reports by the Port Authority, the need for which responds to safety and security purposes. port operations.

The financing for the port of Cannigione, in the Municipality of Arzachena (700 thousand euros), is a financial integration of the project to make the breakwater safe, partly already financed with previous programs to take into account the unforeseen serious static conditions that emerged during the planning phase of the interventions.

For the intervention in favor of the port structures of Bosa Marina (500 thousand euros), this is a necessary integration to start the restoration of the wharf inside the port and to restore the mantle of the breakwater.

In Buggerru via the partial reinstatement of the loan originally intended for the general design of the interventions aimed at definitively eliminating the phenomenon of the silting up of the infrastructure: thanks to the proposed refinancing (900,000 euros) it will be possible to continue the general design aimed at the realization of the structural works that allow the neutralization of the phenomenon of the silting up of the port.

With the financing for the port of Castelsardo (500 thousand euros) it will be possible to restore the pavement of the shore quay and the pier rooted on the same quay, which are in conditions of structural deterioration.

In the port of Cala Gonone (Dorgali) with 500 thousand euros we will proceed to the recovery of the building used as the headquarters of the Port Authority and service block built over 35 years ago, which today no longer even meets the regulations on architectural barriers.

The loan for the port of La Maddalena is intended to restore the quay facing at via Fabio Filzi, Guglielmo Oberdand and Giovanni Amendola and Cala Gavetta and is equal to 1.4 million euros. The one for the port of Palau, on the other hand, is aimed, in particular, at giving financial coverage to the interventions on the embarkation ramps, on the pavements, systems and port furnishings, for an amount of 250,000 euros.

In the tourist port of Portoscuso, with € 600 thousand, the infrastructure will be maintained, made safe and efficient to ensure its use and improve its services.

The intervention for the port of La Caletta, in the Municipalities of Siniscola and Posada, amounting to 2 million euros, represents an integration of the financing arranged as part of the extraordinary relaunch plan of the Nuorese area for the subsequent needs that emerged following the reconnaissance and it concerns the restoration of the outer breakwater mantle. Finally, the proposed intervention for the Municipality of Calasetta (150 thousand euros) concerns the safety of the quay and above all the construction of the lighting system of the port, without which it would be forbidden to use it by the Maritime Authority.
