Sardinian municipalities excluded from funding on urban regeneration, the protest of Anci Sardegna
President Deiana: "Disappointed and displaced to find the absence of the regional territory in the ranking"
“The complete exclusion of Sardinian municipalities from the list of municipalities benefiting from the grant has aroused bewilderment, disappointment and indignation”. The president of Anci Sardegna does not send them to say that he has filed a formal protest for the exclusion of Sardinian municipalities from national funding on urban regeneration destined for municipalities under 15 thousand inhabitants
“The Region of Sardinia - reads the note from Anci Sardegna - has a number of municipalities with a population of less than 15,000 inhabitants equal to 361 (97.6% of the total of Sardinian municipalities); 350 of these presented an application for funding through the aggregation of municipalities, demonstrating an extraordinary capacity for planning and initiative ”.
“In the face of this scenario - adds Emiliano Deiana - we are surprised and displaced to find the absence of the regional territory from the list of positively hesitated requests in the ranking and present in the annex to the Decree of 19 October 2022; a Region that has an extreme need, in the marginal areas, of urban and human regeneration interventions ”.
Emiliano Deiana asks "to adopt every useful and opportune measure in order to contemplate the presence of the projects of Sardinian local authorities, thus guaranteeing a fair distribution and the necessary representation of our island among the beneficiaries".
