Sardinia is growing faster than the national average . This is the extreme summary of what emerges from the dynamic analysis of companies in the first and second quarters of 2022.
The expansion of Sardinian companies was, in fact, + 0.82% compared to the Italian average of + 0.54% . And in the second quarter there is a strong acceleration for companies in Northern Sardinia. The growth rate of + 0.91% places Sassari in third place in the national ranking, Nuoro is in fourth place with + 0.90%, Cagliari in sixth with + 0.84% and Oristano in 91st place with +0, 25% .
According to the elaboration of the study office of the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, considering the first six months of the year Sardinia loses only one position, moving into second place behind the Lazio business system. There were 5,066 registrations in Sardinia , a slightly lower figure than the 5,266 of the same period last year, compared to 3,626 terminations.
Also in the first 6 months of the year, Sassari recorded the highest growth rate with a rate of 1.4%. Nuoro follows at 1.01 percent, Cagliari 0.43 and Oristano 0.33%.
The services sector is the most lively both in the second quarter and in the first 6 months of the year. The response from the construction sector is also good, a phenomenon that has now consolidated over the last 2 years due to the effects of the nrome that have given life to the sector. The primary sector, with growth rates above 1%, also shows a good recovery. Commerce, the most representative of the various sectors, grows in number in the second quarter of 2022 but overall, since the beginning of the year, has lost 37 active companies (-0.3%).
