Cartoonist and illustrator Sandro Dessì pays tribute to Andrea Purgatori , who died in Rome last Wednesday at the age of 70.

A memory with a portrait of the best "investigator" of Italian journalism who told and revealed great mysteries such as the Ustica case, a "wall of rubber" that Purgatori managed to crumble.

Dessì, with roots in Armungia, began drawing and painting at a very young age using various techniques. He teaches literature and art history and has always been passionate about the world of comics, in which he sees an extraordinary and unexploited educational value. He is part, as a member of the jury, of some important Sardinian literary festivals.
