The center-right's appeal to the ministerial network is completely unconvincing: "We're dealing with a bluff; the handover of the island's airports to F2i Ligantia remains the objective of this majority." Confirmation, according to the opposition, can also be found in the 2023 appeal filed before the Business Section of the Court of Cagliari: "The governor continues to request postponements, because an unfavorable decision would put a tombstone on the operation."

The position

Todde's position on the future of the island's airports has come from the Region. What appears certain is the lack of a rethink regarding the Term Sheet, the preliminary March agreement that envisaged a single management holding company led by F2i, a 50.25% majority shareholder. "It's no coincidence," says Antonio Moro, the former Transport Councilor and signatory of the appeal that has been blocking the merger for three years, "that the terms of the much-anticipated Sardinian airport network have not changed."
