In Sant'Elia , critical issues, strengths, projects and dreams take centre stage in the new Neighbourhood Centre inaugurated this morning in Via Schiavazzi , built with funds from the PN Metro Plus programme.

"The idea is to build together, bringing associations, institutions, and communities together," emphasizes project coordinator and president of the La Carovana association, Claudio Zasso.

It will be a place for educational, recreational, and social support activities. "The primary target audience is young people aged 5 to 21 , but the doors remain open to families and citizens who wish to contribute to the development of Sant'Elia," the president continues.

With the Sant'Elia center, the number of active neighborhood centers in the city rises to five. This project strengthens the network of local services and expands opportunities for social inclusion. Alongside leisure activities, special attention will be paid to the well-being of young people and combating school dropout .

"This is a very important project for our city," commented Anna Puddu, Councilor for Health and Citizens' Well-being, "in a space already vibrant thanks to the health center. The healthcare response is now complemented by a new model of community gathering, built around the community's needs."
