It took some time to find him and to extract him from the passenger compartment it was necessary to have the intervention of the Fire Brigade, who intervened with a team from the Sorgono detachment.
The 66-year-old's condition immediately appeared very serious, so much so that the intervention of the helicopter rescue was requested to transport him to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro, where he arrived with a head trauma and internal bleeding . Unfortunately he did not make it.
The Carabinieri of Olzai intervened on site to carry out surveys.
