The municipality of Calangianus, with Mayor Fabio Albieri , reiterates its opposition to the Trynyty project, which envisages the installation of wind turbines in the heart of the town: "Our opposition is firm, well-documented, and has already been expressed in the relevant bodies."

The move follows recent statements from local residents and business owners, including that of manager Sesto Santoli. During the conference of services, Albieri continued, "we already submitted our negative opinion, motivated both technically and politically. The project would involve rather tall wind turbines in areas deemed of environmental value, which would be incompatible with our agricultural and tourism vocation."

As mayor, Albieri continued, " I have a duty to safeguard the common good and the identity of Calangianus and its territory. Therefore, we have said no and will continue to say no in every institutional setting."

The municipal administration "expresses full solidarity with the Santoli family and all the companies and people involved because we consider it unacceptable that landowners and local communities learn about similar interventions 'almost by chance', without any prior involvement. The energy transition is necessary, but it must be democratic and respectful of local specificities."
