The Ichnusa Wind Power off-shore wind farm has not yet been created, the project is accompanied by a thousand controversies due to the 42 immense wind turbines that should stand out in front of the Sulcis coast, but in the meantime it can already count on a land base.
The industrial consortium of Portovesme has, in fact, granted the company an area of approximately 3 hectares for the next forty years: it will serve (if the project is ever actually realised) to host an electrical station and substation with an adjoining easement for the cable duct of the gigantic park .
Among the favorable votes expressed in the consortium's Board of Directors there is also that of the Municipality of Portoscuso.
