The work of the Chamber on the Council's moratorium against wind attacks is going very slowly . Opposition councilors are intervening on all the amendments and requesting, in some cases, a secret ballot. The obstructionism activity is linked to the fact that a series of center-right modification proposals, on which there seemed to be an agreement with the same majority, were in reality canceled by the fourth and fifth commissions .
One of these excludes from the safeguard clauses, therefore without prejudice to the ban on the construction of new plants, all green hydrogen storage and generation systems and the plants from renewable energy sources connected to them.
The green light today is therefore very unlikely, but the majority let it be known that "it will continue to the bitter end" .
Even within the majority the debate is open. The Campo Largo parties want to avoid any mistakes.
Francesco Agus (Progressives) explained it during a break in the commissions' work: «The text is very technical and on a matter like this we cannot afford errors - the commissions are studying the effects of the text and of the amendments received from the Chamber and from the outside, we want to be certain of the consequences of the law, so also due to the amendments presented, an additional investigation can only be beneficial".
