Trade unions and Eni have reached an agreement regarding the dispute involving workers at the coastal fuel depot in the Porto Torres industrial zone.

On Thursday, November 13, a meeting was held between Eni representatives, Human Resources managers, and the union representatives, supported by the respective secretariats of Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, and Uiltec Cisl. The company, which is open to dialogue and expresses its commitment to maintaining good labor relations, agreed to meet with the union representatives following the recent strike action announced last Monday. A lengthy meeting was held, during which the unions' concerns were analyzed and alternative solutions were proposed regarding the temporary layout of the depot. Eni then confirmed a plan for the return of the three employees temporarily assigned to the Rho depot.

The first worker will return from Rho, the plant near Milan, to Porto Torres during the third week of November. A second worker will be reintegrated into the Via Marco Polo site in the fourth week of November, while the third will return to the local depot by the second week of December.

"In light of the agreement with the aforementioned plan and the maintenance of the depot's current operational structure until the return of all resources currently on assignment, the trade unions confirm that they will suspend the ongoing protests and strikes," said the territorial secretaries of Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, and Uiltec Cisl—Gianfranco Murtinu, Davide Tilocca, and Giovanni Tavera. They will continue to monitor the situation through planning meetings scheduled for the beginning of the new year, hoping to maintain the ongoing process of discussion, dialogue, and dialogue.
