Blue skies and sunshine give way to clouds and rain. The regional Civil Protection Department has issued a thunderstorm warning valid from this afternoon until six o'clock tomorrow evening.

Specifically, this is a warning highlighting ordinary critical situations (yellow code) with hydrogeological risk due to thunderstorms across all of Sardinia, with the exception of Gallura and the province of Sassari tomorrow.

In recent days, thunderstorms and hailstorms have occurred, especially in central and northern Sardinia, as occurred in Bitti and Bonorva.

However, in Sardinia, the risk of fires remains high. The fire danger forecast is high (orange, meaning "high alert") today and tomorrow in the central part of the island, from north to south.
