Fingers crossed, of course. But, despite the fears, the weekend forecast is really starting to look good for those who chose to spend Easter and Easter Monday outdoors : a few more days of instability, then room for sunshine and a spring that has so far taken longer than expected.

Lorenzo Tedici , media meteorologist at iLMeteo.it, provides the update: "The severe weather, still with a wintry feel, is persisting across central and southern Italy. Abruzzo and Molise are particularly under observation, where up to 100 millimeters of rain could fall, with particular attention paid to the Silvi landslide area. Exceptional accumulations of up to 90 centimeters of fresh snow are expected in the Apennines, accompanied by gale-force winds." On the island, however, clouds and scattered showers remain, expected to increase tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

The first few days of April will therefore continue to be dominated by the cold vortex descending from Norway, which will continue to be felt especially along the Adriatic coast and in the South. But there's already a clear sign of a turning point : starting Thursday, the sun will return to the North. A preview—almost a "taste"—of the more decisive change expected right around the holidays.

This time, the models seem to be aligned: a real Easter turnaround is on the horizon. Starting Friday afternoon, the improvement will quickly spread to the South and Sardinia, paving the way for a stable, sunny holiday weekend with rising temperatures. A few isolated thunderstorms are possible, but they won't ruin the plans of those who have already planned a trip or a simple walk.

And then there's the one under special observation: Easter Monday . Always associated with the risk of rain, this time it could surprise us with a positive outcome, with mostly clear skies and gradually decreasing cloud cover even in the far south. In Sardinia, temperatures could exceed 20 degrees: a first, true taste of spring, even if it arrived a little late.
