"The crisis unit," reads a statement from Arnas Brotzu , "will work in coordination with the competent authorities and the Board of Directors, keeping patients and staff constantly informed to ensure continuity of care and safety." Clinical and healthcare activities are currently continuing as normal, in compliance with safety measures, and emergency response protocols have been activated should the situation evolve. In Sulcis , the Local Health Authority (ASL) has ordered the closure of administrative offices and the implementation of smart working for some activities, while non-deferrable healthcare services will continue as normal . Outpatient clinics remain open, and staff are committed to promptly informing patients of any specialist absences, subject to possible last-minute changes.

Maximum alert is also in effect at the Monserrato Polyclinic and the San Giovanni di Dio Hospital , where only emergency services will be provided today and tomorrow. For Wednesday, January 21, the provisions will be updated based on evolving weather conditions and Civil Protection guidelines.
