A bad experience, which could have had much more serious consequences, was that experienced yesterday afternoon by two volunteers from the Assosulcis civil protection of Sant'Antioco .
They were on their way to Is Urigus ( San Giovanni Suergiu ) to support their colleagues who were already working on the large fire that had engulfed the houses in the small hamlet, when they were involved in a road accident at kilometre 2 of provincial road 75 .
