Violent hailstorm on the 131, whitewashed the stretch of Campeda

An impressive hailstorm hit northern Sardinia in the afternoon.

he Statale 131 is completely covered in grains of ice in the Campeda area: the vehicles in transit were forced to stop due to the almost zero visibility and poor grip of the tires on the white asphalt.

The disturbance also affected Gallura: the hailstorm hit the Calangianus area with particular violence.

Heavy and widespread rains were recorded in Logudoro, Sarcidano, Mandrolisai and Barbagia.
