New serious accident on the roads of Sardinia and in particular of Sulcis. Around 11:30, at the exit of San Giovanni Suergiu on state road 195, two cars collided violently. They are a Fiat 500 X and a Grande Punto: the causes of the accident are still to be ascertained.

The Punto ended up against the fence of a house and knocked it down . One of the two drivers, a man, had to be transported by helicopter to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.

On site were the Sulcis Emergenza and Medicalizzata Sirai ambulances, then the Carbonia firefighters and the Carabinieri, with the local police carrying out the surveys.
