Violent collision between buses and cars at the junction for Bancali: three injured including an 8-month-old baby

A family of tourists from Lucca, a 35-year-old father and mother and an 8-month-old baby, ended up in hospital. They were transferred to Santissima Annunziata for checks. Their conditions are not serious.
Yet another violent clash at an intersection that has caused serious accidents, some even fatal, over the years. According to initial reconstructions, the Peugeot 308, in which the family who had arrived on holiday in Sardinia was traveling, would have come off the SP 56 to continue in the direction of Bancali, when the impact occurred with the Arst bus which was heading from Porto Torres to Sassari. In the collision the Peugeot was completely destroyed. The consequences for the passengers could have been much more serious. The bus was heavily damaged, on the driver's side who, fortunately, was not injured. Some passengers were also on the vehicle, but they did not suffer any consequences.
The local police of Porto Torres were on site for the traffic, the firefighters to make the road safe and two 118 ambulances. The officers of the municipal police of Sassari were present for the investigations.
