More violence, degradation, and drug dealing in Cagliari's historic center . During the night between Monday and today, a violent argument erupted between a resident exasperated by the music and noise from a small group of youths and a young man .
One of them was also holding a stick: the brawl took place in front of the church of Sant'Anna in Stampace .
This afternoon, police officers from the Flying Squad conducted a raid on Piazza Matteotti, arresting two foreign nationals suspected of dealing drugs . They were carrying several small bags of narcotics. Their position will now be assessed by the Prosecutor's Office.
Law enforcement will continue to enforce checks in the "red zone," which will expire on September 30th . Tomorrow, the Prefecture will meet with the Committee for Public Order and Safety to assess the possibility of extending the increased surveillance zone.
