In the check-in and departure areas, dozens of seats will remain empty, reserved for women victims of violence who will no longer be able to occupy them. In Olbia , the red check-in desk, a permanent symbol of the issue within the airport, will become the beating heart of the day. The video "Let's Put a Point" will be continuously broadcast on LED walls, appealing to victims to find the courage to report.

The Carabinieri headquarters will also light up in orange in support of the international campaign “Orange the World” , a symbolic gesture to reaffirm their support for women.

DATA IN CAGLIARIFrom 1 January to 31 October 2025, the Carabinieri of Cagliari recall how they prosecuted 572 crimes attributable to the so-called “Red Code”, with 119 arrests and 435 reports at large, recording an increase compared to the same period in 2024 , when there were 529 crimes, 130 arrests and 390 reported. In particular , stalking acts increased, going from 177 to 227 episodes, while domestic abuse and sexual crimes remained practically stable, continuing to represent a significant part of the interventions.

THE NEW LAW – On the Day Against Violence Against Women, the Chamber of Deputies could approve a new law introducing the crime of femicide as a separate legal category. The measure already received unanimous approval from the Senate last July. This time, too, the law is expected to receive a bipartisan vote, as it did just a few days ago, on November 19th, for the free consent requirement, which establishes that any sexual act without consent is considered rape.
