A 63-year-old man, resident in Capoterra, hospitalized in serious condition after a kite surfing accident that occurred on Campulongu beach in Villasimius.

Upon leaving the shore, the 63-year-old vet lost control of the sail and the strong wind made him take off, crashing into a lifeguard station and, after a flight of several metres, landing violently in the pine forest behind the beach .

After the alarm, he was rescued and rushed to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.
