Villasalto, use of water from the water supply network prohibited

The mayor of Villasalto Leonardo Usai has issued an ordinance effective immediately and until further notice "the absolute ban on using mains water as a drink and for preparing food".

The measure "became necessary to protect public health following the analyses carried out by the staff of the prevention department of the ASL 8 of Cagliari on a water sample taken on Monday at the outlet of the tank located in Villasalto in the San Cristoforo area".
