A new space dedicated to children has opened in Villaputzu: the playground in Piazza Galileo Galilei has been opened.

"This area," Mayor Sandro Porcu emphasizes, "is designed for children to play, meet, and socialize, with modern equipment and a safe, welcoming space for families." Porcu adds that, in this way, "we continue our commitment to enhancing our urban spaces and creating community-friendly spaces. Thanks to all the workers who contributed with dedication and care to this project."

There are several small parks and new social areas in the town center of Villaputzu. The one in Piazza Galileo Galilei (better known as "Red Square") is designed for children and families. Also adjacent to Red Square (in the Is Tallaias area) is a dog-friendly area. "These are all redevelopment projects for urban public spaces and squares," Mayor Sandro Porcu emphasized, "that make the town more beautiful and welcoming."

The latest work involved the creation of a new dog park, the redevelopment of the green areas with the installation of turf, and the installation of new playground equipment and picnic tables. The Is Tallaias area also houses the municipal paddle tennis court.
