Adverse weather conditions in recent days have led to the postponement of the maintenance work on the dirt ford over the Flumendosa , scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.

The Villaputzu municipal administration announced the news. "The company responsible for carrying out the work," the statement reads, "has reported that current conditions do not allow for the proper execution of the work and the expected long-term results to be guaranteed."

Therefore, the Municipality "has ordered the postponement of the work, deeming it a priority to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the intervention, as well as the proper use of public resources. The new date will be set as soon as weather conditions allow for the necessary technical guarantees to be met, and will be promptly communicated to the public."

The Villaputzu municipal administration , despite finding itself without any more resources (the regional contribution has been used in its entirety and has not yet been replenished despite the mayor's repeated requests), "confirms its attention to the maintenance of the Flumendosa ford, an infrastructure of fundamental importance for the mobility, connections and daily activities of citizens and businesses in the entire Sarrabus area."

The dirt ford is currently in critical condition, with potholes and dips. We recommend using it with extreme caution and at a very low speed.
