A 48-year-old woman was found lifeless inside a bed and breakfast in Villanova Monteleone .
The owners of the accommodation raised the alarm on the night of August 14th. The Sassari Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the case to determine the cause of death.
The victim, born in Sassari and resident in the Aosta Valley, had been on holiday on the island for a few days.
The Carabinieri of the Alghero company are investigating the incident and, by order of the judicial authorities, will be tasked with reconstructing the woman's last hours of life.
Meanwhile, the body has been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, tests that will allow us to establish the cause of death.
