Carabinieri officers from the Villamassargia station arrested a 25-year-old unemployed man on charges of domestic abuse.
The intervention followed a complaint from the young man's parents, who, exasperated by an unsustainable situation, turned to the Carabinieri, reporting that for approximately two years they had been the victims of harassment, insults, and insistent requests for money from their son to buy drugs.
The investigation was rapidly accelerated by the acquisition and viewing of a video from the night before the complaint was filed. The footage unequivocally documented the moments in which the boy railed against his parent, making serious threats to obtain money.
The Carabinieri intervened and stopped him, taking him to the Uta prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
