The Correboi tunnel will not close for the moment and certainly not before the conclusion of the works on the Arexini tunnel, on the 125 at the height of Muravera. This is assured by the Department of Public Works, led by Antonio Piu, specifying that "neither the Department nor Anas has announced the closure of the Correboi tunnel and currently there is no plan for partial or total interruption of traffic in that section, as the intervention is still in the planning phase".

Once the project has been defined, it will have to be submitted to the relative financing and approval process and, they say from the department, "only after this step will it be possible to define the consequent timetable for the implementation of the intervention". Councilor Piu ensures maximum sharing with the mayors of the municipalities involved who in recent days had complained about the lack of indications.
