A serious accident occurred on Provincial Road 27, between Tortolì and Villagrande. A car and a motorcycle collided.

The car, which went off the road after the impact, caught fire. A 25-year-old motorcyclist was injured and taken to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari with multiple injuries. The driver was uninjured.

The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. today. The Areus Echo Lima 3 helicopter, arriving from Elmas, was on site, along with law enforcement, the Tortolì fire department, and ambulances, including the emergency and nursing units from the Tortolì Green Cross. Traffic on the provincial road remained congested for a long time.
