A fatal crash occurred this evening on the SP 60 highway in Villacidro . A car struck a tractor that, according to preliminary investigations, was exiting a side road.

The driver of the agricultural vehicle was thrown from the vehicle upon impact. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful.

The driver of the car was also injured and was taken to San Gavino Hospital with critical condition.
