The uncivilized abandoned everything there: disused equipment, out-of-use cars, waste collection containers, useless documents, there were even three ice cream refrigerators .
The people responsible for these abandonments were identified by the local police thanks to the video surveillance cameras. They were summoned and sanctioned, very high fines with the new sanctioning regime set up in October 2023 by the Municipality, which made the abandonment of waste a crime, with reporting to the Prosecutor's Office and a fine of between one thousand and 10 thousand euros (doubled in the case of hazardous waste). . They will also be charged for cleanup costs .
