Surprise inspection by the experts appointed yesterday morning by the Court in the apartment on Via Ghibli of the elderly couple Luigi Gulisano and Marisa Dessì, aged 79 and 82, found lifeless on the evening of 5 December in the study of the home.

The inspection

The experts asked to inspect the house where the couple lived: with them were also the lawyer Luigi Sanna, defender of Claudio Gulisano, second son and, at the moment, the only suspect of the double homicide, and the lawyer Gianluca Aste, who is assisting his brother Davide, considered an injured party of the possible crime. By the end of August the experts will have to deliver the reports that will be illustrated at the hearing on September 11.

The investigations

Claudio Gulisano was arrested on December 30, suspected of killing his parents, but for six months there have been conflicting reports about the day of death (the latest hypothesis is December 4) and the manner of death (sodium nitrite poisoning was initially indicated but disappeared in the latest report, leaving room for death by asphyxiation). Without a certain framework, defense attorney Luigi Sanna decided to ask the judge for an evidentiary hearing, which was then granted by Gip Ferrarese with the appointment of his own experts.
