While there are those who work, commit, and spend resources to improve not only the appearance but also the usability of the area, there are those who, on the contrary, damage the positive things that have recently been achieved.

It happened in Arzachena, along the new Capizzal di Ponti - Li Conchi nature and trekking trail, where—as publicly reported by the municipal administration—unknown individuals committed acts of vandalism, damaging the fence, the trail, and buildings along the route.

The municipal administration has condemned the project unequivocally, emphasizing that the damage to a project that began last October and is progressing rapidly represents "an offense not only to the institution, but to the entire community; attacking a public asset means attacking the wealth of every citizen." These actions, however, do not halt the work, which—the municipal administration writes—is continuing "with determination" to complete the project to enhance and protect Arzachena's environmental and monumental heritage. "We are convinced that the incivility of a few cannot hinder the development of the area."

This is followed by an invitation to citizens to collaborate in defending the territory and to "report any incidents of vandalism by calling the emergency number 112 or the Local Police Command on 078981111".
