Valledoria, the child burned by boiling water was transferred to Pediatrics

The 20-month-old child who was burned by boiling water was transferred from the Burn Center to the Pediatric ward of the Aou hospital in Sassari.

The accident occurred inside the home in Valledoria.

Yesterday afternoon, in the house, located in the grove of San Pietro, near the sea, the child's parents were preparing a hot drink when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, the child overturned the container full of boiling water on him.

Rescue from 118 was immediate, an Avis ambulance rescued the child transferred to the landing strip in La Muddizza, where he was loaded onto the helicopter rescue and rushed to the Sassari emergency room.

After a first admission to the Burn Center he was transferred to the Pediatric ward monitored by doctors. He suffered burns to his abdomen, chest and lower limbs, but his health conditions gradually improved.
