Valentina Greco is leaving the hospital in Tunis. Her brother Alessio, who arrived in the North African country yesterday, has paid for his treatment. And soon the two could board the first flight to Italy.

Local authorities decided not to question her and returned her cell phone and computer, according to lawyer Gianfranco Piscitelli, representative of the Penelope association, who has been in contact with the Greco family in recent days.

The forty-two-year-old woman from Cagliari had been missing for about ten days: she was then found by the gendarmerie inside her home on Saturday. The woman, who according to initial reports from her mother was found unconscious in a closet, has undergone treatment that will require several days of rest. She may then return home. Her mother, Roberta Murru, may therefore decide not to leave and wait for her in Cagliari.

"The girl is not alone; she is receiving 100% assistance from the Italian consulate and embassy," Piscitelli emphasized.
