Sardinia is not among the ten Italian regions where coverage against infectious diseases among children aged 0 to 16 exceeds 95%.

On the island , the 92% rate hasn't been reached. Sardinian parties are ready to protect the Lorenzin law on mandatory vaccination, while the League—the only political force—is calling for vaccinations to be made optional .
