A 30 year old man from Olbia , sentenced to eight months in prison (definitive sentence to be served), had been missing for some time and the Carabinieri were looking for him to execute the orders of the Tempio Tribunal.

In recent days, he was stopped by the Olbia Highway Police along State Road 125. According to investigations, the man was driving with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit . Furthermore, the officers immediately verified that he had never held a driving license. However, the Highway Police checks concluded with another order, and the man was transferred to Bancali prison because database checks immediately revealed that he was serving the remaining eight months of his sentence.

It all started when a patrol from the Olbia Highway Police detachment saw a small car skidding on State Road 125.
