An economic helpdesk for oncology students at the University of Sassari.
“The magic of Trilly for a smile” is the project presented yesterday in the Aula Magna of the University and which, supported by a fund, will support university students affected by cancer diagnoses . The initiative is dedicated to the memory of Andreuccia Pruneddu who, despite suffering from cancer, still managed to graduate.
«This fund - explains Giovanni Pruneddu, brother of Andreuccia, called "Trilly" when she was part of the goliardic association - was born within a larger project, wanted by the rector to guarantee our students a fair right to study».
And the Magnificent himself, Gavino Mariotti, was the first to illustrate the operation, dwelling on its importance, which will allow the beneficiaries to be reimbursed, Giovanni continues, «any instrument necessary for their reintegration, and for their right to smile».
The main goal of the fund is inclusion: «Thanks to this project, students will be able to feel less alone, less isolated and “different” for what they are facing as a clinical path».
