Increased traffic police services to ensure greater vehicle safety throughout the region, and increased enforcement efforts to identify vehicles without mandatory insurance: with the results achieved in 2025 under wraps, the Pula local police force is focusing on the new year's objectives.
"Last year, we increased our enforcement activities to ensure greater road safety," explains local police commander Enrico Madeddu. "Eleven vehicles, four of which were found parked in public areas, were fined and confiscated, as required by the Highway Code.
"Verifications regarding compliance with mandatory insurance regulations," Madeddu continued, "will continue throughout 2026 using the tools provided for by current legislation, with the aim of ensuring maximum safety on the country's roads."
