Not only the care for the city councilor Edoardo Tocco, already twice Alter Nos, who fainted in church during the mass before the start of the procession behind the carriage (only a slight illness, for him) : there were about 40 interventions carried out by the rescuers of the health cordon organized for the feast of Sant'Efisio number 369, entrusted to the Sinnai Soccorso association under the coordination of the 118 operations center of Areus.

Three red codes were addressed, with patients transferred to the hospital as a matter of urgency: a woman suffered a heart attack in via Santa Margherita (and underwent surgery at the Policlinico), the same heart problem for a rider in viale La Playa (luckily he managed to dismount from the animal before the problem worsened) and immediate care also for a two-and-a-half-year-old child who hit his head after falling from his father's shoulders.

Fortunately, as the hours passed, none of the more serious cases were life-threatening.
Among the notable rescues was also that for a girl suffering from anaphylactic shock caused by something she had ingested (yellow code) and for a woman who fractured her femur after a fall, again in via Santa Margherita. For the rest, illnesses and some panic attacks.
In the end, however, everything went well, thanks to the deployment of approximately 160 operators, on the field under the supervision of Marco Argiolas, the coordination of the secondary operations center of Eugenio Pinna and the overall management of Areus, with Elena Ciocirlan, head of the advanced medical post, and Simona Marongiu, head of the rescuers.
